ProofLab ("the service") is provided by Mukundan S, an individual based in India ("we", "us"). When you use ProofLab, you are entering into an agreement with Mukundan S. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms.
The service
ProofLab is online software for analysing data (statistical review, exploratory analysis and hypothesis testing) and for validating business ideas (AI-assisted market and competitor research, surveys, a validation verdict and a downloadable investor deck). Your first idea validation is free. Additional idea validations are sold as one-time purchases: $1 for one validation or $4 for five.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the authority to bind the organisation you use ProofLab for. Keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and for giving accurate information.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not:
- use it for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or to send spam;
- upload content or data you have no right to use, or infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- interfere with the service's security, e.g. spreading malware, probing for weaknesses, scraping, or overloading it;
- reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service, or get around usage limits or payments;
- use the AI features to create illegal content, hateful content, deepfakes or malware, or try to "jailbreak" the AI.
AI features and your content
Market studies, survey drafts, verdicts and investor decks are produced partly by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Market-size figures are estimates. Check outputs yourself before relying on them. They are not financial, investment, legal or other professional advice. You are responsible for what you enter and for how you use the outputs. You keep ownership of the data and text you upload and of the outputs created for you. You give us a limited licence to store and process your content only so we can provide the service. If you believe content on ProofLab infringes your rights, email mukundsid@gmail.com and we will investigate. Accounts that infringe repeatedly will be suspended. We may remove or restrict content, or refuse or filter AI outputs, when that is needed to enforce these terms.
Intellectual property
Mukundan S owns the service and all intellectual property in it, including the software, documentation and the ProofLab brand. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for as long as you have an account.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes and refunds are covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund policy.
Availability and warranties
We work to keep ProofLab running well, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, such as lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where the law does not allow that. You will compensate us for claims caused by your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously breach these terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly break our policies. You can stop using ProofLab at any time. When an account is closed, its saved work is deleted.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over disputes. We may transfer our rights under these terms as part of a sale or reorganisation of the service. You may not transfer your rights without our consent. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may update these terms, and we will post any changes on this page.
